Maybe there is an advantage to playing the game in Jacksonville. A year earlier in 1984 Fl. fans storm the field and tear down the goal post, no cops.

Very Bittersweet for me. Watched from a hospital room at Wilford Hall AF Hospital as my daughter recovered from surgery. Then Dooley stole the the championship from us. I hate Georgia.

I was there for that one. There were a few cops, but they were seriously out-manned and they knew it.
