I would love to see it but with that defense it will be tough.
It won't matter. Bama wont be able to stop them either. Bama hasn't seen a offense even remotely close to Oklahoma's. Saban's team's have struggled with dual threat qb's. Kyler Murray is a faster better version of Johnny Manziel with a better coach.

Looks like I accidentally stumbled into bammerchatter

It’s not that we like Bama. We don’t. Fcuk those guys.

It’s that Oklahomas’s Defense is terrible.

Bama scored easily on good defenses.

Oklahoma has a bad defense.

I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m saying it’s unlikely.

Alex.

it's not sooooo outrageous of a thought. Both Tua and Hurts have had injury problems, and that's what they would need is both to be injured. As Law has pointed out, Bama doesn't have a huge defense anymore, so I don't expect them to tire like they did against Clemson two years ago. They also won't have to face a Clemson Dline either. A lot, an awful lot would have to go OU's way.

Trailerbammer does have a pretty weak secondary.... but it won't matter because the d-line will live in the backfield.

I do think Oklahoma gets in the 30s at least but can they keep Bama from scoring 45 +.

I’m not sure where everyone is getting this “Bama doesn’t have a good defense anymore” myth. They’re 4th nationally in scoring defense and 9th nationally in total defense. They aren’t the baby killing, midget stomping, nuclear bomb dropping, anthrax mailing lethal defense we’re used to seeing, but they sure as hell aren’t bad, either.

Oklahoma is going to score some points, but let’s not act like they’re going to be moving the ball at will. Bama hasn’t seen an offense this good, but Oklahoma DEFINITELY hasn’t seen a defense this good. And Bama may hang 60 on them without breaking a sweat.

I just see Bama dominating the time of possession and running down their throats. I think they are going to make a concerted effort to keep OU's offense on the sideline.

Also minimizes the risk of injury to Tua and gives him more time to recover before the national championship game...

And they’ll hit a few well-timed playaction bombs past Oklahoma’s statue safeties.
