I know most of us believe Mullen is a fuch tard but I find it hard to believe he honestly thinks Emory is the best option. I mean my 6 year old even made comments during yesterday's game about how much better #15 was than #5. It's far worse than the Franks over Trask situation 2 years ago. I gotta think he's just saying what he's saying to keep Emory's head up and to make bama plan for both guys. Even if AR was named the starter who doesn't believe Florida's gonna need Emory at some point this year with the way AR runs the ball. He's gonna get dinged up.

What does Mullen have to gain by coming out and naming AR the starter last night? Maybe the whole football world wouldn't be calling him a dumbass right now but there's no schematic advantage to tipping his hand to Saban. I believe he's gonna start Emory for sure and probably give him the whole first series (which will be 3 plays and a punt hopefully and not a pic 6). Then go with AR the second series and see what happens.

The Franks-Trask situation was a little different because there were multiple players openly saying Franks should be the starter. I think Mullen was to big of a pussy to start Trask out of fear of causing problems in the locker room. Luckily for Mullen, Kentucky damn near broke his leg off and saved him from having to make the "tough" decision. Just watching the players reaction the past 2 weeks it's obvious who they want at QB and it ain't Emory. I also believe AR will be named the starter going into Tenn unless there's an injury.

If AR doesn't get more reps than Emory Sat I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. And if we get blown out because of it, Mullen's wife just thought grocery shopping was hard before.

I love how every liberal with the sniffles has covid.

Have you considered licking a few less doorknobs, or huge, flat feet?

Saban will use one of the 10 extra head coaches hired on as consultants to game plan for an AR-led team just in case it is needed. With 10 extra coaches on the payroll, you can game plan all scenarios.

Why he can't just act like a professional at these conferences is beyond me.
Because he’s smarter than you and I, and he knows it.

Plus, he has 8 million reasons to not give a shyt about what we think. More than that, really, I wonder what his buyout would be?

See, all these insane theories about why Dan Dullen is t really the retard he looks and acts like and alternative theories that he really is just trying to instill discipline are hilarious. Much like the alternative theory that "he does play freshman/less senior bc Kair Elam".

GRANTHAM plays freshmen. Not Dullen. And if Mullen is just being the world's greatest HC by losing games rather than creating murderers....why does he only do it on offense.

Stupid is stupid, period. You guys have made a decade worth of excuses about how MushChimp, McElstain and Mullinz REALLY arent the fuchstards they appear to be.
Dan Dullen I like that!

I think EJ has been Mullens highest recruited QB, and the first one on his recruiting class. Mullen has personally promised that "if you stay three years in the system, wait for your turn, you will do great!". He cannot accept what a terrible failure his 3 year project has been.

WTF are you ranting about? Are you seriously implying that if we put great Freshmen QBs, they become murderers? I am just trying to translate to English here.

Im sorry your so angry. I tried to articulate a level headed position but I think you missed it. What I was implying is that maybe mullen is scared that he will lose control of the team if he depends too heavily on star players (as happened with Urb). Its basically an indictment on Mullens lack of leadership leading him to make idiotic decisions such as not making AR the starter.
