Independent Athletes have that designation due to political transition/being in a new country/sanctions.

Just talking zika ... CDC doesn't know enough about it. Like, if a young single female contracts zika
in 2016, then 5 years later she gets pregnant. Has the zika virus left something in her blood that can still
cause teratogenic effects on the fetus ? Study, testing, and time will tell. I know they are working on a
vaccine but so many already have it by now.
