At the end of the day, it's just football. A place like Gatorchatter is about a lot more than football. It's a community, part of our daily lives. Often the characters here are considerably more interesting than the play on the field.
I would certainly agree that if anyone is that angry and emotional about this game, it's a good idea to step away.
You said this much better than I was going to.
We have a limited number of Gator games that we can experience in our lives. I'm soon to be 56 and not sure how many more seasons will I get to watch? It's my school, love football and may not always agree with the course of the program but I cannot see giving up on it. If you can't enjoy it then I get it but we're a family here. That's what makes the bad days bearable and the good days even more enjoyable.
Law, all I can say is life is too short to bury your passion but is also too short to be upset about that passion too. So crap, don't know. Just for selfish reasons I wish you'd change your mind and stay in the family.
