By the way, Archie Manning is far and away the most overrated quarterback in the history of football, so Peyton comes by it honestly. Archie was absolutely horrible in the NFL, and his teams were a reflection of his effort. His record as a starting QB was 35-101-3, (a .350 winning percentage). He finished his career with 125 TDs and 175 interceptions.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retires. Teams know what to do now. Make him throw those deep out routes. His arm just doesn't have the strength. They might actually go 8-8 next year...with him.

He may well have already screwed the pooch by staying this year in terms of cementing his legacy as one of the worst playoff chokers of all time.
