I've also seen some on here advocating to just keep Shannon at this point, like LSU did with Ogre. I really hope it don't come to that. I like Shannon being on the staff, i think he's a good influence on the players and they respect him, but I don't think he has what it takes to be head coach here. I know he took over a tough situation these last four games, and except for the Mizzou game, the team seemed to play hard, but I don't know how the hell he could watch this atrocious offensive play calling by Nuss over the past few years and not make a change. He didn't have to fire Nuss, just let someone else call plays for the last 4 games. I don't want to hear that nobody else on staff had experience at calling plays either, we saw for years what Nuss could do and he had several years experience at calling plays. To me this is the biggest sign that Shannon can't be CEO over this program. He wasn't willing to try, just try something different, what the hell did he have to lose? Instead we just continued to do the same stuff we've done the last couple of years, rinse and repeat.
