It goes down as a 10 point loss but was an uncompetitive snooze fest . Coach Cig couldnt even get a match lit yet alone get that offense smoking . The Hoosiers would have a losing record with our schedule . Scottie the queer must stop scheduling difficult non conference games . There is no point when pissants like Indiana or SMU can waltz into the playoffs without winning their sally sue league . It’s pretty easy to rag on Cignetti as they looked pretty bad tonight - truth be told I fell asleep watching the game - but I don’t know of anyone at the P4 level who did more with less than he did. Yes their schedule was weak, but they still over achieved. The bad news going forward is they did not recruit particularly well or kill it in the portal, so this season may end up being his high water mark, but that should not take away from what he accomplished this season.

I know talent doesn't matter but he had like a top 50 roster, with a large number of FCS players.

They SHOULD look pretty bad vs a top 20 roster, especially later in the year as the first 22 are banged up, and they are playing some backups.

So the same fanbase (myself included) who loved SOS for his sometimes arrogant demeanor when discussing the Gators is now ragging on a guy with some of the same types of commentary? Say what you want about this guys but in ONE YEAR, he took a team that was one of the worst in D1 football and put them in the CFP. In the end, he didn't have the horses on the LOS. But Sunbelt needs 4-5 years to get to 8 maybe 9 wins in the SEC?
