You only have to look at last years UT game to get a feel of this sorry arse coaching staff... we are up huge at halftime and I swear I have never seen so many runs up the middle called since spazzadizo...would Spurdog let a lead like that be squandered? Hell no!! He would have made it 50 point lead!!! We can have all the top 5 recruiting classes we want but until the folks who are calling the plays are removed from their positions, expect more of the same from last year. The only saving grace in all of this is if MAC shows us his guruness and starts calling the plays, and tells Nuss to go carry his golf bag. Even then I don't know how well the offense will be, only time and a lot of alcohol and cussing at the TV will tell

I do believe there were outside influences in that game, ie the refs!!! They can't pull that shish nowadays. If memory serves, this was the last time ACC refs were aloud to be apart of UF-FSU games. Or was it the Rix Hail Mary game?

I'm pretty sure that's not a rule. I think the way it works is the refs for the visiting team's conference are used. So SEC refs when we play at Joke Shamble and ACC refs when we play in The Swamp.

Boy are you guys confused. It was the Swindle in 97 that caused the change in refs. Those were ACC refs in the Swamp that night. Up to that game the away team brought their conference refs. After that it was changed to home team uses their conference refs. Incidentally that game had a lot to do with instituting reviews. FSU screwed us so bad that night that it changed college football forever.
