UF had Correll committed under McElwain. Mullens checked that out and was able to get E Jones to UF, a much better fit. Fields kept bouncing around on where he was going. He would've been a great fit for Mullen but with E Jones already committed, he was left for UGA, his absolutely worst choice, being a Dual QB in the dawgs pro style system. Timing is and was everything!

Because his offense is the best one in the country for a dual threat qb? What dual threat wouldnt want to play in that offense? You're almost guaranteed an invite to New York just for being named starter.

Yeah I understand that but it always seems like the QBs wait until all the other schools are filled up to almost guarantee a spot w OU...and if he comes in does Rattler leave? It’s gotta be frustrating for that kid to get recruited and have better guys come in as soon as he thinks he’s got an opening
