I am shocked at the lack of football knowledge of some of you. Treon is a true freshman who has played admirably under the circumstances. He threw two ABSOLUTELY PERFECT long balls to Powell and D-Rob. He threw plenty of other decent passes that were dropped. He ran when he needed to. The kid has made this absolutely terrible offensive scheme look like merely a bad offensive scheme (something the two prior #1 rated QBs coming out of high school - Brantley and Driskel - were unable to do). If we gave this kid some coaching and a decent scheme, he would have won every game he played this year.

Which two were those? He threw one that would have been out without a great catch by D-Rob. Had one where D-Rob had to slow down to catch because it was so poorly underthrown, if thrown anywhere close to on target it's 6. The few throws to Powell that were short, behind, or with no chance of completion. His best throw was the pass to Burton or the one Westbrook allowed to bounce on his hands into the FSU linebackers.

No no, you're going to have to pay the piper. A truckload of lizards on this board were all aboard the Neon Treon Express. All the little Munchkin did was lose the FSU game for you. Congratulations, you have three more glorious years to look forward to as your new coach and superstar QB leads you into SEC mediocrity.

Even at mediocre we still be UT every single year... with our little Munchkin... there is nothing you can really say because we beat UT every single year... even in the worst year's we have ever had... find your hole and climb in it and don't come out!

What happened to Harris is what seemed to happen to every QB here under Muschamp, his first couple of games his passes hit receivers in stride, then after he was named starter and got more reps at practice he seemed to regress, overthrowing and underthrowing receivers, throwing behind receivers who are wide open. That points directly to the incompetence of the former coaching staff. At least I hope the former coaching staff, if anyone who coached any part of the offense is retained next year it's a complete joke.

Look who's back Mr. 2004, or should I say Mr. 10-9.

As for the play calling. Have we run a single screen pass to the RB all year? I can't think of one.

Oh, we attempted several. JD threw bullets about a yard behind them and TH couldn't throw over the oncoming rush. We opted to run into the back of the tackles instead.

Look at the bright side, running into the backs of the tackles gets us more TOP! :bananarope:
