When Grier took a banned substance and subsequently was suspended and left the team, all the blame was put on his shoulders. And ultimately, it's true he's the one responsible for whatever he puts in his body.
However:
Over the past year the stories of the disastrous Strength and Conditioning program continue to ooze out. Players weren't held accountable, no discipline, and it was so bad players were hiring trainers and working out on their own. The question is, would Grier have been at GNC buying supplements without talking to coaches if UF had a competent S&C program?
It's a fair question to ask at this point. Florida is on the verge of having TWO quarterbacks leave the program and go on to win the Heisman Trophy, a scenario which is beyond belief.
Before spouting off an emotional response because of your personal feelings about Grier, please think about it and attempt a reasoned response.
