Hawaii and WSU. Yeah, good gauge.
They certainly will - for this overreaching government.Actions and choices have consequences.
He can (and should) do both. In my mind, this entire vax mandate fiasco needs to get infront of this Supreme Court asap. This government/corporate hydra is definitionally fascistic and is going to have to be delt with definitively because the powers in charge don’t care about public health (see ignoring natural immunity) the only care about control and compliance.Actions and choices have consequences. It is admirable for him to step up and accept those for his beliefs versus go running to whatever attorney he can find.
My employer not only requires a Covid vaccine now, but has also made the flu shot mandatory. In the past the flu vaccine was optional but if you opted out, get this...you had to wear a mask for the entire flu season. Now you have to have both and still have to wear a damn mask. You’re talking about a vaccine that’s been around for decades abs decades. No school or employer has ever required a flu vaccine. None.
Actions and choices have consequences.
And what happens when the Supreme court rules in favor of the University? I don't buy the conspiracy laced "government trying to control us" tinged argument. There is enough evidence out there that while being vaxxed doesn't prevent you from getting it, it does protect you from death and hospital stays. Meaning its not a completely black/white thing. Yes I do understand people are hesitant to get it and "forcing" anyone to do anything is always a last resort type thing. I don't think we are there and I am muted on mandates. I think perhaps a better solution would be for organizations to adjust insurance premiums for those who are not vaxed to a higher rate to better reflect the real costs that these individuals incur with higher hospitalizations rates. He can (and should) do both. It's your choice not to get it
Is it, really?
My employer and my former employer are requiring it - it is now mandatory for all 18,000 of us.
I got the Pfizer so I'm not worried about it, but there are some folks who aren't pleased.
So ...it's really not their choice, unless they want to find a new job.
I have a right to decide whether that supposed layer of protection is right for me based on my risk factors. Yeah and forcing anyone to do anything is a last resort...like you might have to go to war with your own people, fire good medical personnel, people that serve the country and may be irreplaceable. And what happens when the Supreme court rules in favor of the University?
