I'll bite... is he a high 3*?

Edit: seriously, I hope he becomes the big blocking TE with soft hands our offense needs!

Would you rather he recruit a 250 pound LT? Let's hope the kid has already shown some athletic ability with good hands, or you may have nailed it there...

No...I would rather he land top offensive lineman and TE's. Afterall...he's not at CSU anymore so why keep recruiting like it? Instead of landing kids you HOPE develop/contribute go out and land kids you are pretty sure will do both!

Maybe he's had a burning desire to be a tight end his whole life and we want to fulfill it for him.

Pretty obvious it's to have basically a 6th OLman on the field. We don't really need another catching TE, and any receiving he can do will just be a bonus. With Gamble sounded like he might be a good TE, we may not need a receiving TE here.

Happy for the kid and hope he pans out, but why are recruiting like this? What next...a punter to play WR?

Mac lulling everyone asleep again I see. Setting up for a panic finish. I never liked having a top ten class wrapped up by October anyway

Welcome to Gator Nation Jalen. The unfortunate reality is that all the guys crying above would also be crying had we missed on your commit.

Welcome

Huh? This is college football. We only have these kids for 3 to 5 years. If we're recruiting a TE, it needs to be to block AND catch. We only signed one TE last year. We don't have the luxury of have a "pass catching TE" AND a different player to be a "blocking TE". We need a TE, period (one that can actually play TE....meaning he can block when he needs to....AND, God forbid, catch the damn ball when it's thrown to him!!!). Wouldn't that be nice?
