This is my position as well. One time, and I was there, great. Since, has been forced and often right before we absolutely backed down. But, at some point it becomes a thing of its own and events like this past Saturday sway me and lock it in. If we are being honest, even We are the Boys is hokey as shyte and is not terribly exciting and I've sung in well over 100X since 1994.I was there for the first one with LSU and felt that it should have been "one time" or "special occasion only"... until Saturday night. With the new lights in the stadium, at night, it was pretty damn cool... the fact that we were pushing their schit in physically and looked like a near "complete" team (yeah, I'm looking at you Special Teams!) might have been a factor as well.
It's grown on me and is now a unique event in college football worth keeping.
