That's true Captain but unfortunately this is the real world where college level players are expected to bring their "stars" to the next level. It's a place where if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Of course, you already know this and your innate kindness is appreciated. I've never heard this gentleman before and my perverted sense of humor found him hilarious and what is really disturbing is that he was right on in his analysis of Harris. Maybe Treon really is left handed.

My golden rule for message boards: If you do not care for someones post, don't read or don't respond. Never ever post negative comments about a fellow Gator fan. Which is why, at our former home, my IGNORE list was damn full. So, when Mr. OX (aka Mr. jawja red vette) built us a new home, I promised myself to be more "open/tolerant" and to never use the IGONRE list.

... promise broken... Sasquat & MJM will be the first on my Gatorchatter IGNORE list (others will fallow, I'm sure)... Ox has built a great/fun place for Gator Nation to hang out but franky, some of you suck the joy out this place.

FYI maybe my frustration level has diminished my BS level... blame that on treon as well!

Folks, this isn't high school football, it's the NCAA and specifically the SEC, where coaches are compensated in the millions and where athletes use their scholarships to hone their skills in what's essentially become the NFL's minor leagues.

I'm not one for using tasteless or vile monikers as a means to describe a player, but I think it's just as important to distinguish what college football has come to represent. This isn't your grandfather's leather-helmeted NCAA but rather a money-making machine involving public-figure athletes who in many instances see no wrong in using the social media (or mainstream media for that matter) to articulate their opinions. As such, the athletes have positioned themselves as not being above the criticism or even occasional harsh criticism of the fans.

Treon has been accused of rape and caught smoking dope on more than one occasion. Its one thing to bash a good kid but treon is garbage on and off the field.

And the dope thing is not that untypical. I knew of quite a few guys in college with well placed parents that sold weed on a large scale, funded successful respected businesses and enterprises in gainesville area, without the source money being suspected, , but someone with a bag or two is irredeemable scum?

Weed is illegal. So was alcohol at one time. Doesn't make the people who use them hot garbage. It is sad and scary that more and more accusations are equated with guilt.

( And I say what I say about weed, as a person who is not really pro legalization the way it's been presented in my state, but the criminalization of it is a waste of human lives , a waste of money, and not effective. What they really don't want is for people to be able to grow their own private stash which would interfere with larger interests cornering and controlling the markett)

I lauged at the left handed comment and the spice girl one) and he seems about as frustrated with Treon's play as the rest of us so I'll share. Then Sas decided to turn this into a thread about people who call kids "Trash" and personally attack a player. None of that happened in the video...

So here we are in the same old argument with people who think it is OK to trash a college player and those who don't.

I don't think it is OK to personally attack a player and thought that from Brantley to Driskel, but there are no issues attacking a guys play.

Bottom line... if the video isn't your sense of humor... fine, but I don't see anything offensive with it. As far as other comments on this board... it's a message board.. there are always jerks who have "hate" for people playing a game. Remember... fan is short for fanatic.

At those QB camps Mac saw in Trask what he (we) can use. Trask will compete and
if he gets relegated to back-up, he will cause no problems being on the bench, while
at the ready to take the field. Let's have our own EE faith in McTrask.
