Lol, right. Sure thing.

I assure you CUMeyes have NEVER run away from a top.player, including ones with burglaries, agg assaults, and rapes.
So the occasional player shoots the occasional fella in the face..... HEEEEYYY....These things happen....

Or start with firing Mac

No, he's right. If UF is going to start refusing any athletes that's ever smoked weed, we may as well shut down the entire athletic department. This is beyond pathetic. You don't punish a kid for something he did before he ever got to your school. We're not talking about the military here, it's school for crying out loud.

Mac won't get a second chance here then. 3 years no improvment and it's time to kick him to the curb

What's funny is Cleveland was charged with a felony (wrongly) and he stayed on the team and played.. Robinson gets a ticket.... wtf

Edit: I get that it's not Macs decison reportedly....but he can the school kiss his ass imo and still accept him.

I heard a guy who had coached for UTn on the radio one time tell this story. I have no idea if he was joking or not but it is a funny story.

He and another assistant coach were heading out to have an in home visit with a player they liked. The one coach had to warn his partner that there was one issue he needed to know. It seems the player's dad was in prison or had served time for killing a man with his bare hands. The coach to whom this was new information to was said to have then said,

Forget about the kid, does his father have any eligibility left?

I'm willing to bet there's more to the Robinson story than we know. Ohio State and Florida both pass because of a weed citation? Definitely more than just that going on here. It appears that there are mitigating factors that won't be announced publicly. Perhaps he has prior run ins with the law and he was already a borderline case.

This is certainly a possibility.

That's unbelievable!!! Good thing none of our current players smoke pot..... or they'd all have to find a new school too...

That's the thing that doesn't make sense to me. There has to be more to it.

Regardless, he doesn't seem like the brightest kid getting busted on an OV, no matter how anybody feels about it (personally not a pot guy)

OSU probably dropped him because of the tweet outing the team for doing a **** ton of drugs

He has been known for some time to be quite the dope. This latest incident goes to show where there's smoke, there's fire. Obviously a sticky situation given our lackluster recruiting but, to be blunt, the program just couldn't afford to take another hit to its reputation. That's why I'm not surprised we're hearing it wasn't a joint decision between Mac and the UAA. Sucks for the team, but sometimes you have to weed out the problems before you really get burned.
