Ok...13th then. Be critical all you want (I am as much as you at this point) but the LSU win was a good one. Even with Farmer Fran on the other sideline.

How many good wins does Mac actually have?

Nevermvind.

Those critique-facts on Mac's particular failures versus prominent challenges are fully correct. All us pumpers know & realize that. Those who stand by Mac do it because UF will not "destroy" its HC "fair-term hiring" national reputation among all prospective future HCs in the nation. If Mac is fired such that all those prospectively hirable HCs can nod their heads and agree, "yes, Mac had time to meet Florida's high expectations and in 4 years I'm sure, as CEO/HC at UF, I can get Florida yearly in the running for SEC Champs & National contenders." All prospective CEO/HC-worthy hires must fully recognize that the time-span as UF's HC gives reasonable time to hire, fire, reselect proper coaches and recruiters for SEC CFB & state of Florida treasure chest of athletes.

Sure, some of us Gator pumper-fans hope to the force of believing that "all" will come together for Mac in the UF tradition as a dominant threat within 4 years and he will lead the march back to year-in-year-out prominence. So UF recruiting will reach & stay in the Top6. Gator players will play with the gladness that young CFB players should exhibit. Now this can't be bunk because 70,000 wildly cheering fans are wishing & believing the same as pumpers. And they are admitting it at highest decibels on the Regional/National stage. Us pumpers are & will always stay proud to be part of any Gator effort.
The Florida Gator FB Program is not dying, no matter the number of killjoy hitmen.

I'm getting a little over the consolation prizes around here....What I miss most is the days when even if we weren't at our best......still nobody really wanted to play us and if it were at our place a lot of opposing fans would just chalk up a loss before the game was played.
For close to 20 years the only team I wasn't completely sure we would destroy was FSU.....

I'm just numb

So if a team was say 10th in week one then goes on to be 4-8...and we beat them in week one you would say...Mac beat a top ten team?

GTFO.
Yep because by your dumb ass logic no one should be ranked till the last bowl games are played. Y'all will find any way to slight Mac you can huh? Again there are plenty of legitimate things to criticize so quit invoking non-sensical arguments

You're out to lunch on this one. Your pumper buddies actually want it like this. It actually gives Mac an extra win vs ranked teams. HE's like 3-7 instead of 2-8...lol.

So, you're wrong twice in one post.

Now run along and go play in a rainbow.

Okay, let's drop the rankings from the argument. How often did UF win in death valley dating back to the meyer years? Based on lswho's talent alone, that's still a quality win. That doesn't erase the struggles we've had with Mac, but to say that "home game" in br wasn't a good win is just piling on.

I never said it wasn't a good win and that's certainly not what we are arguing about.

So records matter but there is always context that gets us to the numbers we are discussing. Like how many ranked teams was he supposed to beat with Treon as his QB and 6 scholarship olinemen? Does it matter that his starting QB is lost half way through the season to a PED suspension and he's left with a dope smoking alleged woman asaulter who couldn't see over the oline if he was wearing 6 inch stilettos? Has every Mac decision been a home run? No one would claim this. I just can't stand people who chose not to actually examine everything that goes into a 3-7 record against ranked opponents and how he may have arrived at that point. And by the way Slappy if you omit the LSU game that would leave you with 2-7 not 2-8 right? Or is basic math also something you suck at?

Good wins
2015
Tennesee #23 and a Rival
Ole Miss #12
UGA (Rival)

2016
LSU #20 and at Death Valley
UGA (Rival)

Bad losses
2015
Once Treon was the QB behind that line I didn't expect to win any games.

2016
Tennesse - With AA behind center the only thing that was surprising was that we were leading at half time
Arkansas - Counts as 2 bad losses
F$U - AA and injuries on defense don't know that we had a chance
Bama - We ain't at the level yet

God, that's a bunch of excuses. Chump pt II

And slappy, there's been so many variations of his SH!TBAG record vs ranked teams I can't remember how bad it is...he also was 0-1 at CSU vs ranked teams...so 3-7/2-8/3-8 who cares because they all suck. All I know for sure is he sucks when he plays ranked teams.

So take your math lesson and shove it

As long as Mac nurtures side lines that looks like this...
