So weird that many of you who were ok with the Kintucky loss are going nuts now.

I understand NV. He was on the Tagelwain train. The rest are odd.

This team was never a top 10 team, we are barely a top 25 team at best.

Way too many problems.

It is just year one.

I cant believe some of you deluded yourselves into thinking this is a playoff team or whatever you were expecting.

You cannot turn the ball over and win against a talented team. We knew that we could win this game if we played to our strengths--which is not turning the ball over and creating turnovers.
It hurt us losing Henderson, no doubt, but the turnovers hurt us more.
We hit that big play for a TD on the flea flicker and it's a different game.
I think the game plan was sound; we just didn't execute. It sucks but I'm proud of this team and their heart. That goal line stand was a thing of beauty.
What I don't understand is why we didn't blitz on 3rd and long. I guess Grantham didn't have confidence in our corners. I would have liked to see more pressure on Fromm in those situations but whatever. Ugly made the necessary 2nd half adjustments and won the game.
Still, **** Georgia.

We didn't blitz all day because UGA knows Grantham inside and out, so expected the Blitz heavy D, so we tried to outsmart them. Same reason why we all of a sudden break out EJ. Mullen wanted to bring stuff they didn't prepare for. It didn't work unfortunately.

UGA has a lot more talent then us. Big surprise, they have more talent than maybe 2 or 3 teams in the country. I expected a loss but not by nearly 3 TD's.

We lost to one team with less talent than us and beat one with more. We have more talent than the rest of our teams on our schedule except maybe FSU, but they are a dumpster fire. Still, I expect we lose another before it's all over.

I didn’t read you post anything about “secondary” but to each his own. You made a blanket statement and then said you’d prefer to not call out names. You weren’t the only one.

We have a couple dozen kids who were rejected by Miami and every other Div 1 teams and were at best going to FAU or FIU. Some of those guys are forced to play due to injuries or lack of development.

They toasted those FIU LBs, safeties and the cornerback at will.

Youre drunk if you dont think that kind of talent gap doesnt matter.

And if not for a few plays, Vanderbilt beats us two weeks ago. No one is denying the mistakes. But you have less room for errors when you enter a game short handed.

It’s not always black and white. Both were problems.

This talent gap theory is garbage. We just beat a LSU team a few weeks ago that scrubbed Georgia. We went into starkville and got a W.
We kept giving them the damn ball! How many games are you going to win when you're minus 3or4 in the turnover margin? It was mostly self inflicted at that.

If you asked a casual football fan who wasn't familiar with ether team to sit down and watch that game, do you think they would have come away with the idea that UGA had an obviously more talented team on that field today?

No they would probably say that they are pretty even except one team has a solid QB and the other team has Franks and apparently no one to beat him out

I'm not mad that we lost either. We've already exceeded my expectations . I think we end up 9-3. I'll definitely take that this year.
