I will take him but what says this is a home run hire? What has he done? Offense stats? We know he is a great recruiter but what else about him makes him the perfect or great hire at UF??

I would stop short of a home run label on him. But offensively at Ole Siss?? He beat BAMA. The fit I think would be his ability match with UF resources and ability to draw talent.

I am afraid this man is where his heart wants to be. I doubt he leaves there
at this time. I sure hope he will. He is one fine person. He bases everything
on Christians values. They are powerful. That is probably why he is such a
good recruiter. If he stays there he will build a great program. If we do get him
he will rebuild ours.

Mr. Foley get out the check book and get this guy.

Everyone needs to watch the video Okeechobee Joe posted. Watch all of it.
It is a powerful video. He shows what the man is made of. He is the exact
opposite of Muschamp. You can bet he has very little or no temper problem.
That was Muschamp limiting factor.

From what I was told Foley expects to land him, which implies they have already spoken. Now, there's no doubt Ole Miss will try to keep him with a hell of an offer of their own.

I would be shocked if he leaves ol miss, but not sure if you could get a better coach to come here this year. I'd be a happy Gator!

Depends on what part of Mississippi. Oxford is probably one of the better places to live in MS. That being said I'm not a fan of the place. It doesn't compare to Gainesville.

Exactly, so Foley should be prepared to raise when called.

He's a native Mississippi guy. That's what will make it hard to draw him away. Having said that, I think he may see the bigger picture. It will be very, very hard to have sustained success in the West. A very good team in the West, may be a top 5 team nationally, could still potentially be 2 or 3 in its own division.

As I've been saying all season, I hope we get Freeze. He could make a jump to the East and immediately start dominating. He could have a run of terror in the East like we haven't seen in many years. I'm talking about a sustained 90's type run. That HAS to intrigue him.

There are a lot worse choices than Freeze out there and only a few better choices.

I know im going to get blasted for this but....I find it interesting that so many people blast oxford as being an undesirable place to live compared to gainesville. I lived in Gville for 8 yrs and I'm here to tell you it aint utopia. As a matter of fact I wouldn't ever live there again. Other than UF, what is there? Some natural springs and some caves? Its in the middle of the state and is hot as hell and has very little character. Living anywhere but the coastline in florida is insanity. If UF wasnt there all of you would be talking the same smack about it.
