I don't either. I'm surprised I found this. Did it start in the lounge? If so, I must have found it under the recent threads group.oxrageous said:Not really. Most people never even look in the Lounge.EuroGator;n35565 said:Also, any new members or lurkers will quickly see our dirty laundry. ...and they'll be able to quickly assess who's who!

We don't like reading ****ing fairy tales posted in every thread when we are dealing in reality.Phineus Maximus;n35431 said:As I've referred to in previous posts, the horse has long been dead. Law knows this and continues to shove it down our throats by spewing EVERY opportunity he gets, whether or not the thread has anything to do with Muschamp or Driskel. He understands fully that he pisses people off with his unrelenting criticism and he does it anyway. That, to me, is trolling. All other trolls are given vacations, so should Law be shown favoritism for his trolling behavior just because he's a Gator grad?

BTW I didn't vote on this because you actually seem to know something about football. If you stayed on topic I don't think people would be upset as long as you didn't criticize their opinion. Gator Fever often times counters some of my post with a different and usually neutral or maybe even slightly negative view which is pretty cool because it raises my interest in the program even more than just reading rosie stories and such. I find a lot of your post are informative once I get past all of the name calling, which is funny the first couple of times.
The two most known bannings on gsmb were gatorsidney and canething. Although it wasn't Muschamp-bashing back in those days, they were banned for being a constant, purposeful, disruptive nuisance to the board (sound familiar)? Not just stating an opinion, but really trying to sew seeds of discontent and stifle any feel-good vibes of the masses. Lawgator and Gatorsidney are pretty much identical, except Sidney didn't even occasionally pretent to be supportive and he never relayed stories of how he used to post back in the Swampie days and has been a Gator since blah, blah, blah. And those two had supporters as well, but they also had many who couldn't stand them. I recall a very prominent member of THIS board threatening to never post on GSMB again if something wasn't done about Canething. Personally, I prefer a rival fan being a constant, insufferable nuisnace over a Gator nuisance any day.Concrete Helmet;n35685 said:Was GSMB strict on the Muschamp bashing also ?

It's kind of like a turd. it's ok once you get past the stank.
Funny you mentioned that DC. I have yet to see a rival poster on here are there any ?The Original DC said:The two most known bannings on gsmb were gatorsidney and canething. AlvinYork is a Tennessee fan. He's a typical Tennessee fan, but he's real and honest and consistent. We've been beating hell out of Tennessee and him for years now, but he stills comes around. Most importantly, you know what you get with him and he's not pretending. I'm sure there are a few other rivals here, but he's the one who comes to mind. The Original DC said:The two most known bannings on gsmb were gatorsidney and canething. Gatordiddy;n35978 said:As a brand new member and never a member of any Gator message board in the past - I have very little context and no real skin in this one but I do like the fact that there is a back and forth to the comments. Since I first saw Reaves throw to Alvarez I was hooked on Gator football - but had to endure growing up in Tallahassee constantly defending UF ('Civilization amongst the Savages' ...Tally Gator club motto for a while). So reading Gators go back and forth about the direction of our program is entertaining and educational even if it ticks people off. I'm enjoying it... and having read all the Facebook comments at the bottom of articles on various Gator websites, this is not much different: tons of disagreements about WM and Foley. But I'm digging this board ... and the fact that all the college academic polls (US News, Forbes, etc.) rank UF way ahead of the Clown College. So while they may be on top right now... at least I didn't have to go to school there. We can all be thankful for that.
