1. You said something about spine-snapping. Still haven't seen that one.
2. You honestly think I was playing favorites with Sas over Alky? My friend, I'd rather ban Sas than Alky. In this case, he was responding to Alky's ridiculousness. Was it right? No. But if Alky hadn't made such a dumb comment, Sas wouldn't have made his.
3. There is no admin on any message board on the internet that is more patient and fair than me. Alky has had a number of vacations, including one for popping off like this just a few weeks ago. His history plays into his discipline. For example, if you had made the cancer comment, I probably would have just reprimanded you and NOT given you a vacation.
4. You're still my favorite poster despite your occasional bouts of complaining and trying to make me look like an asshat.

Though I have to admit that the number of displays of offensiveness by Alchy's brief post was impressive, the vacation in question was pretty well deserved especially if there's been a pattern of such comments. Given the variety of offensive topics, something was sure to offend someone. I have a pretty thick skin, but as the father of a kid who has autism, I have to admit that I was even pretty offended by "I would wish you a retarded kid" comment. Crap like that being allowed without any intervention is what drove me away from GSMB.

So, for what it is worth, I appreciate your moderation philosophy and am glad you make the effort.

They probably would have been demoted if the Sun could operate the software. As it is, nobody can change their titles apparently.

I haven't been on here in many months, and this thread is the first thing I clicked on... I'm glad to see that things haven't changed much! Threat's post nailed it! I was reading the thread, and came across 78's picture, thinking "what the heck am I looking at?!"

Looking at the question posed in the thread title I would hope that LDR isn't counted on to save this offense. Yes, he needs to able to do what it takes to operate this offense but I for one don't want to see any one player be the only difference between success and failure this year. I want to see an offensive line that is on par with what it takes to move the ball either on the ground or through the air. I want to see a QB who doesn't have to rely on his arm strength to make plays....I want to see a guy who knows where to go with the ball to move the sticks......I want to see more than 1 or 2 receivers/TE's who can get open and catch the ball....I want to see RB's who can not only run with the ball but also block in pass protection and have good enough hands to be involved in the passing game....just say no to anymore "one player makes or breaks the season"....I guess I should also mention that if the need arises I want to see a back up QB who won't make us alter our offense when called upon....
