Brady refusing to take any responsibility. I bet the NFL brings the hammer down and takes a draft pick etc. now. Seems to be trying to play stupid just like Belichick did on other stuff.

They need to ask him if their equipment guys should be fired if they did that to the ball but then again Belichick hung that one guy out over spygate.

Why don't the rules make both sides use same balls ? Handled by an official.

I've been wondering this myself. You put the balls in the care of the teams and you're begging for things like this to happen.

The deflated balls didn't keep the Colts from only scoring 7 points in the whole game. You can't expect to win a championship game by only
scoring 7 points with any kind of ball, period.

I agree but imagine if this was the Ravens game. All hell would be breaking loose now with people saying NE should have the win taken from them. Its looking like the Ravens were the ones that tipped everyone off now but I guess they didn't officially make a complaint during the game even though they suspected the footballs were deflated.

Just listened to a whiner Colts fan on the radio saying that if the balls weren't deflated, the WR for the Pats doesn't make that perfect TD throw against the Ravens. Therefore, the Colts would have gotten the Ravens at home and would now be playing in the Super Bowl. You can't make this stuff up.

The game was played in a driving rain storm. I'm sure Luck would have appreciated the advantage of a deflated football. Alright, skip the outcome of the AFC Championship game. What about the highly contested game with the Ravens. Flacco had a 40 yard pass in the air that would have won the game for Baltimore but the Patriots unaccounted for safety that broke in and saved the game for New England. You can't say deflated footballs didn't give Brady a critical edge in that close playoff game.

Its time for the cheating Patriots to forfeit the Super Bowl.

What's funny is all this has done is really piss off and motivate the Patriots. I think they're a lock to win the SB now.

I watched that sports science on espn and they proved that an underinflated ball is actually a detriment. i've also heard that for every 20 degree drop in temperature the ball will lose 1 lb. so, you go from a 70-80 degree room to whatever the temp was, 30 degrees maybe...there's your loss of psi. and i hate the pats! i'm just repeating what i heard...

They probably will use it as motivation like after spygate when they made it a point to try and drub teams even worse it seemed. I just saw an article where they claimed the fumbles by the Patriots declined big time this season from last season. It wouldn't surprise me if they have been deflating the ball this whole season if that is true what Bettis said about making it much harder to fumble when you can squeeze the ball like that.

Bettis was also one of the guys saying Brady should confess....even before the press conference....and was disappointed that he didn't after the conference. So, even though nothing has been proven Bettis and his companions think Brady should just confess

Not sure the exact questions asked but if its been going on the whole season then Brady probably could be telling the truth when he said he didn't tell anyone to mess with the balls for that game but like most other QBs are saying - that ball boy didn't deflate those balls without being told to at some point imo.
