Someone raised the possibility that he won't be playing a freshman in the bowl game because he doesn't want to be unfair to the new coach. Perhaps that's just wishful thinking.
would it be his decision. certanly he would leave before the bowl and it would be up to the interim coach if it happened. Then again if it is Nuss, he would just follow the muschamp book to perfection.

I personally think Mac is just trying to get a raise, which he may get a little bump. I just hope we don't extend him for like 4 yrs so we end up owing him 10 mil when we fire him in 2 yrs, like we're still paying dumbchamp.

He already has 4 more years on his contract. Fooley gave him a six year contract right out of the gate.

"USF coach Willie Taggart and Boise State's Bryan Harsin interviewed with Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens in the Dallas area on Friday, according to a source."

And yet....

"The Ducks are expected to interview other candidates in the school's search for a replacement for former coach Mark Helfrich, a source said. Among the possible candidates include Western Michigan coach P.J. Fleck, Florida coach Jim McElwain, Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano and Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who played quarterback at Oregon.

Oregon has not yet reached out to Fleck, sources said, although there could be some movement Sunday."

The Ducks would prefer to have a new coach in place by early next week, a source said."

Early this week? Do you really think Mac will interview before then?

he gets a bonus for winning the East. So he got a raise. If he wants more money, try winning the SEC, and yet another another bonus would accrue.

Ain't Foley still on the payroll, we can just garnish his wages to pay off dumbchamp and Mac. He's the one that should be paying for this anyway.

Laugh all you want, but that's what I think will happen. Then again I am a negative Nellie. Lol

Wouldn't that be something, pretty kewl if you ask me.

But seriously, I can't see him possibly getting a raise, new AD probably isn't liking what he's seeing.
