As others have said, the reason these all-star Florida grown offensive recruits have gone elsewhere of late is because of UF's boring scheme and struggles to move the ball. If I was watching Clemson's offense on tv and then watched the Gators, even in a winning effort, the Tigers game plan would have a lot more appeal.

There needs to be a major schematic shift in offensive approach (and it appears there will be) before the top offensive talent is anxious to return to Gainesville.

You make sense Since. I just hope for a Malzahn-turnaround…. something (everything) forceful with points real quick.
Wish some top recruits had enough gator-love that they would come to make all that happen right away. We all wish
that fairy tale.

Continuation of this thread:

The staff has been set for weeks, except for the WR coach. So what the hell is going on?

Discuss.

Foley probably said we still have Leak here so just don't hire one to save some money. I think we will hire one eventually but it wouldn't shock me if it just got added to another coaches duties.

That was one game in their season.... lets look at the other scores:

Kent State 48-7
@ # 23 Penn State 27-11
North Texas 41-0
# 14 Arkansas 38-14
@#12 Florida 38-10
Vanderbilt 34-0
@Ole Miss 52-7
Tennesse 37-6
#1 LSU 6-9 OT (only loss)
Mississppi State 24-7
Georgia Southern 45-21
@Auburn 42-14
#1 LSU NCG 21-0

I would say 6-9 in OT was the outlier of the data set.

Can we pay WR coach Kerwin Bell more than JU's HC pay ? Kerwin as long time Gator & Pro QB, QB coach, OC etc.
He ought to make a legitimate WR coach. He certainly can recruit florida, especially neglected Jacksonville.

Satan: Hey Nusschamp. Do you have a new job yet? No? Well I just hired a new "Offensive Advisor". He is moving into your office this morning. Let me know if you find a new job.

He is cheap and it probably has something to do with the delay. You get coaches cheaper that way sometimes.

I' wonder if Saban shows potential recruits all the National Title rings he's won since McElwain and Nussmeier left his staff.

If we didn't have coordinators in place, I could see the need for criticism. But a WR coach? Seriously guys, on many staffs the QB coach also coaches the WRs.

Without stating the obvious, Nusschamp has finished in the top 100 offenses ZERO... none.... times since he left Trailerbammer. And didnt finish in the top 50 before Bammer either.

Come on bruh. You really think we stole some secret sauce here? Trailerbammer is crippled now without their Nusschamp? Satan is sitting around wondering how he will ever find another guy who knows how to run up the middle 85% of the time?

Law,you do realize that Michigan paid him an extra 150 k to leave bama. Also kiffins stats are over inflated by him constantly throwing a screen pass to cooper. People on the cowherd show was actually making fun of how much kiffin ran screen pass plays. Those were the usc fans. Freshmeier didn't get ran out of town they actually threw the ball down field when he was there.

So we are grading coaches on one year.... does that mean Muschamp should have been retained for 2012's 12-2 campaign?

Looking at one year alone got us the ****tard which was Pease. Nussmeir might not be a world beater, but between him and McElwain I trust them more than anything we have had the last 6 years at OC.
