I went with Grier because Harris only weighs like 160. He'll get broken by SEC DLinemen.

Why is Morninweg even on this list? I'm going with Grier... I assume he knows more of the offense since he was here in Spring.,

Other than their lack of experience, I don't think we can go wrong either way. I'd kinda like to see what Harris can do. I really liked his attitude when he committed and it sounds like he's got a lot of running speed and a nice touch on his passes.

Harris has no long ball to keep the defense honest.

Good for you T, my point was that sometimes people are included in things that they have no chance of winning.

I have no idea. I don't even know who I want to be the back-up and who I want to redshirt. I'd like to have WG available next year WITH experience if JD blows up this year and goes to the NFL. If that possibility doesn't materialize, I don't really care. I think WG has the higher ceiling, what I remember from TH's HS video was that he didn't have the best arm. Then again, neither did Danny. Either way, I hope they all finish the year without having missed any time due to injury.

Fair enough. I'll avoid the political commentary

Good observation, probably right on the money.

Sounds like Grier was the early leader but Harris came on very strong in the later practices. Grier having a Spring under his belt has to help him, so I still think it'll be him.

I'd like to see them both play before I gave an answer I voted grier because I heard someone on the radio say Harris was struggling making all the throws. Whether that's true or not idk.

In a perfect world where JD is healthy all year Treon will play here and there and Grier will RS. If JD were to go down for a chunk of the year I think the coaches would play Grier. Grier has a better grasp of the offense and an arm to make all the throws, but he struggles with touch. He likes to throw the fastball all the time. Treon is a very good athlete that gets the ball out quick, but he has struggled with accuracy and doesn't have the arm strength to make all the throws yet. In the end I believe that they RS Grier and Treon is the backup.

It really is a toss up. I think Harris is very good at the dink and dunk game as well as using his legs. Seems like a very smart and controlled player. Grier can flat out sling it, and is also a great runner himself. Not a bad problem to have and I don't think either would be a bad choice.
