Just got a bottle of ECBP. Its awesome.
I've never had a bad batch. Stagg Jr is great too, but much harder to find.

Actually another fairly easy to find cask strength that real good and reasonably priced is Belle Meade's Cask strength

Thanks for all the good recommendations. I went in the largest ABC in Ocala Friday and the only barrel proof bourbon they had was Makers Mark. Not bad, but I had hoped for something better.

Was in Utah a few weeks back and went to the High West distillery in Park City that had a few good things.

My top favorite was their Double Rye Whiskey, but the Prairie Bourbon was a close second. Their oat vodka (forget the name offhand, it was a blue bottle) was incredible.

I did the tour there a couple of years ago. It's a fabulous setting and they make some good stuff. I recommend their Midwinter Night's Dram if you can find it.

Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof is pretty easy to find and is supposed to be fabulous. It will be my next purchase. I've also seen New Riff Single Barrel all over the place. I'm enjoying a bottle of that right now.

I tried a bottle of that some months ago but did not care for it. I'm not a big JD fan anyway.

OK an old dog can sometimes learn a new trick. Thank you. Sorry for Zima comment. I will keep an eye out for Riff in my liquor store.
Make sure you get the single barrel. Should be about 110 proof. They have it at Total Wine.

I'm on the lookout for a bottle of Old Tub BiB. Beam released full bottles of it in some states. You could get a half sized bottle at the gift shop but this is supposed to be better than that.

Don’t fret. Their releases should make it to FL and should be in abundance. From what trusted friends tell me, it’s really really good and different from the 375ml. I’m planning on just getting a case as soon as it hits

I'm hoping so. I'll grab a few bottles if I find it.

If you saw the Distillers Cut from a couple years ago or the Repeal Batch last year, this should follow a similar supply channel. I do think this will sell better than the Repeal Batch though

On a fluke I looked at the website one of my locally owned stores in WPB and they had some. I immediately bought 3 bottles for pickup. I got it home and popped one, here is a brief review:

Nose: I smell cornbread, alcohol and maybe some light citrus. The longer it sat, with an ice cube, the cornbread really comes out on the nose.

Taste: Famous Beam peanut funk, buttered cornbread with some sweetness. It is smooth for a BiB product.

Finish: Moderately quick finish on this one, but it is sweet and funky. It is different than any other bourbon, but in a nice way. The alcohol and funk do linger awhile.

Perspective: My favorite BiB is JW Dant and this is quite different from that. It is unfiltered and I think that adds a nice old time aspect to this bourbon. It tastes like something antique from years past. It's nice, I like it. Not sure I would go for a whole case but 1/2 case will give you a change up from other stuff from time to time, but only if you like the Beam funk because many do not. I paid $20/bottle.
