We've had all year to develop players for next year. How would not playing and not practicing at all improve the situation?
The season's over. There are no more games. The best thing to happen would be to have all the players exposed to the virus and develop immunity.
One of the good things about bowl games is that teams get to play other teams they rarely or never meet during the regular season. Should we try to get into the Gator Bowl every year because it's nearby?
Since we won't have the traditional time for practices where those players expected to play next year would get more practice time the reason for going bowling is less than would be traditionally.
As you note the virus can be very devastating as we saw with a basketball player. Exposing them for little to nothing is not a good idea to me.
And this year is different, I read that our visit to TaM might have caused issues.
Now your opinion is fine, as is mine.
