Might? It is guaranteed he is coming back. They are using this to take the heat off and give the delusional sheep fans that Mullen is making changes and taking the program in the right direction. Only way he is showed the door is IF we lose out. I think if he wins just ONE of the remaining games, he will be back.
We let go of two guys whose contracts were going to expire anyway... this is a look I'm changing move. This really was a zero sum move.
Now I still believe that the Admin is looking for reasons to keep him. But depending on how the last three games go, and the way he is off the field (especially in front of the mic). The Admin might not get a choice in that matter either. Much like Mullen put his reputation on the line the moment he had Grantham come back in 21, Stricklin is now has to make a decision about his reputation. A reputation can take a life time to build, but one bad decision to destroy.
