The easy part is now over: the firing. Now the hard part begins. I'd like to think we'll hire a game changer here, but my expectations are set at the "Pittman/Mark Stoops" level.

Someone mentioned no more coaches with names that begin with M, but if we go with coaches with names that end in R (Spurrier, Myer), then it’s Napier. Amirite?

We need a CEO-HC whose schemes are attractive to 5* QB recruits along with 5* WRs, & 5* TEs. Fortify the UF staff with a vibrant Strength Coach, someone with muscle-kinesthetics knowledge (or at least an assistant so incline) -- to guard against injury, thus keeping enthusiasm at
full bore.

Anyway. this time is a crossroads for our UF program ... no more choosing an HC with staff great at looking forward to vacations. Get a reasonably young HC, who can get us to winning right away, facile at upsetting opponents by being the old "Fighting Gators".
Hire with the plan for an entire hard-driving staff.

Just checked Napier's record. Same number of trophies as Dan. Tough first season which is excusable, lost to Ap St. twice in 19, lost to Coastal Carolina in 20. On a run this year, but still looking for first title. No thanks.

Ok. You guys were right on Mullen so curious your thoughts. I feel like Bob been away for too long but interesting...How do you feel about Napier? I wasn’t really paying attention when corndogs were discussing (even though he is in their backyard) but would we be ok with this hire?

LOL. WHY DO YOU GUYS ALL LOVE THE SAME FUCHSING GUY? Will you be surprised when he does the SAME FUCHSING THING as the last two guys? He is LITERALLY a McElwain protege, who already failed catastrophically as an OC (at Clemson) and is more run run run punt than either McElwain or Mullinz?

there is no such thing. No one but elite RBs would go to Saban until he flushed Butterteeth and Nuss.

We need an OC but not a fuchsing garbage OC like the last two we hired. We need someone who attacks attacks attacks and would be attractive to the talent in Florida. Right now it seems that only FSU has managed to land one.
