I heard the big fish might be Riley. He didn’t bite on LSU’s offer.
And apparently, Cristobal hasn’t signed his extension as of yet.
LSU keeps striking out.
He is in the market, but saying the right things. BS that he wants to stay in the Big12 long term - that conference is heading to G6 status and everyone knows it. And he has two top tier programs after him specifically. He would have to absolutely I've shiplap to want to stay there long term.
a podcast I listened too said the boosters want him but Stricklin does not. Something happened at Ole Miss that immediately removed him as a candidate.
Cristobal would completely lock down recruiting in Florida. What I’ve heard and what I read is that he is a Miami guy at heart. Which is a problem. He actually got aggravated that Alabama was pulling kids from Miami. When he was there. But there’s speculation that Gainesville is close enough and that it’s not necessarily the school but the state.
That being said, the one thing he would have to do for me is get an actual OC. He is an OL coach. I think within two years we would have one of the better offensive lines in the country. And we would be a top three or four recruiting class in the country. Maybe top two or three. Nobody will be number one as long as Saban is coaching.
This, still not sold on Nap.Best case scenario: Riley, Cristobal, or Napier at third.
Nightmare scenario: Campbell, Clausen, (insert name here).
Stop the Lane and Bob talk. Neither are happening.
That would be the perfect wakeup call to hopefully toss Fooley and all his staff out of the building FINALLY.Part of me thinks he's going to spurn UF to stay at ULL. Ouch.
I was using the Spanish version, used in el valle.Bevo, with an E, as in beef.
It's whats for breakfast, and freak'n supper!!!!
I do believe if Strick full court pressed Kiff from the jump, he'd have landed him, for better or worse but SPLASH!, no we're holding out for milk toast and hoping its like momma use to make.Best case scenario: Riley, Cristobal, or Napier at third.
Nightmare scenario: Campbell, Clausen, (insert name here).
Stop the Lane and Bob talk. Neither are happening.
Don't let Donk hear you say, "CEO"I'd love to watch a potent offense but I also love to watch smothering defense. One of my favorite plays was watching Spikes plant Marino on his back grill to grill, "Boom $%#$". And let's not undervalue special teams. Under Meyer, they were without a doubt part of the reason we won 2 NCs.
Point being, give me a head coach that's going to run an enterprise. I don't want a glorified coordinator, I want a program builder (yes like Stricklin).
Parrots & groupthink.Don't let Donk hear you say, "CEO"
So, there are more than two aspects of the game of football? asking for a friend.Other than special teams there are only two aspects to the game of football, offense and defense. We know lane Kiffin knows how to score points in the SEC. Hiring him guarantees 50% of the coaching problem solved. Over the years UF has had great defenses. It seems like it would be smart to chose a coach like Kiffin. With the hiring of a decent DC and Kiffin, football could get exciting again.
