16 prospects in the class, 14 from the Sunshine State and 13 with a four-star ranking.

Imagine actually getting most of our recruits from the state instead of like Mullinz who liked flying out to Cali.

Like the HBC used to do it. Loved those 90s games against fsu where 20-22 players on the field were all Florida players. Get the majority in state and supplement with some OOS studs

We’ve officially jumped all the easy teams that we were always going to jump once we added some volume, and are now at 12. If we simply hold serve from here, there are two more quantity classes in front of us(vols and Psu) that we very likely pass. That puts us in the Top 10. A few big fish, maybe pulling Leblanc back from Ou and we could push 7-9, and maybe even overtaking miami.

Flip Dijon and land Cormani and we’ll shoot up nicely as well. I think both are very likely

Another benefit to recruiting Florida players is that you know what you are getting.
Projecting high school talent at the college level is an inexact science but the success rate is much higher with Florida kids because of the quality of the competition. An All-State player from Florida is as close to a lock as one can get.

I'll tell you right here. I was a bit skeptical on Webb prior to his commitment with some of the media stuff we saw. With that said I am very pleased with how he has conducted himself so far and what he is trying to help CBN and staff build at UF. If he can put the effort into his skill set playing as he is recruiting, he'll be lights out. But most of all love seeing the ownership players are putting in. Napier is going after kids that are going to put in the time, effort, and commitment in ALL areas of the program. Just not only on Saturdays. Kids want to play where they see others excited. This is a very good recruiting piece for the Gators.

I think a coach should always emphasize to all the commits that it is imperative they help recruit the class as well - they can have a huge impact on recruits, especially those on the fence.
