It’s game day! Get off you a$$ and start prepping. Check your supplies, and recheck them. Make sure your internet, cable/satellite or whatever is working and that you have a backup plan in case it malfunctions. Food? Drink? Ice? Do you have your game day attire ready down to socks and (I trust) underwear? (You do live in Louisiana.)10 more hours...
Warm-ups start 1-2 hours pregame. Do some stretches and break a sweat so that you don’t pull a hammy on the first 3 & out or TD. Preload gifs and memes for streamlined posting. Billy watches every minute and so should you.

I loved night games IF attending... especially this time of year.. in the Swamp or Tiger Stadium...before big TV money it was SOP at LSU. BR in August and September sux.

Around 80 at kickoff, 40%-60% chance of rain throughout the game. Don't expect heat to be a factor.

So many people keep talking about the heat/humidity. Many of which haven't looked at the weather report or don't know how to read one for a week now.
Still not sure about 20k Utah fans coming, but if they do it will be impressive. For arguments sake, 70k Gator fans will still be nothing like they've experienced before plus the sound of the rain (providing not everyone goes in to the interior and goes quiet) and it could be a lot of fun.

Honestly, this is the first time in a loooooong time that I'm truly excited about the start of a new season. Something feels different this year. This is probably why I've been coming here and posting again recently. I haven't felt this kind of energy within my veins for any sport in years. But it's definitely here today.

I think the energy in this stadium will be more electric than we've seen in a while. Alabama was great, but I think more people believe we can win pre-game than that Bama game and that belief raises the electricity just that little bit.

In my 20s I would have started a few hours ago. I'll start drinking around 6:00 pm... coffee. Will probably still fall out before the 4th quarter.

Ive started in on the corn liquor from the garage. At 60% alcohol, I might or might not be upright by kickoff.
