Their run game struggled big time. I fully expect them to put RB1 back in action for Saturday Night. I also fully expect to kick their asses. Make Kentucky Suck Again.

To some who question this coach:
Salt of the earth
Seems to relish in the Swamp, the traditions, the culture
He outright stated..."sloppy play"...before they "crown" the Gators...we're not at "our level" of expectations.
He likes that they came together as a team, the effort, the energy....team character.
He said the "football" was not there...footwork, gapping, position, technique...They need to play better as a group.
He said their evaluation should not be determined by outcome.

Kicking off game week versus Florida with a press conference, Mark Stoops shared a bleak update on the health of running back Ramon Jefferson.
"The team is still playing without returning starter Chris Rodriguez. Although he’s a team captain, Rodriguez is starting the year with a defacto suspension after a summer DUI. Stoops did not reveal whether he would be back for the game versus Florida.
“Being a holiday today I don’t have anything I can report,” Stoops told reporters at Kroger Field. “Again, I’ve always been transparent with you and tried to be the best I can. Again I’ve been advised, there are things going on, there are layers to this I’ve been advised I cannot comment on it. I’m not trying to hide things from you.”"

I understand about Rodriquez because of his DUI and failure to show up for his summer job while still getting paid for it but anyone know what's up with Jordon Wright? What's the deal with him not being on the depth chart?

Kentucky is a dirty team led by a dirty coach. Hoping we get out of this game without any injuries. I still remember those d-bags twisting Trask's injured ankle after the play.

Time for some PAYBACK for the Kitty Kats and Short Round (Stoops).
UF's D will crush their OL, should not matter who the RB is.

Pretty simple. I think the game last week will be more of confidence booster for UF than a hangover.

I haven't understood the offseason and preseason hype for UK. They are not a great team. This is a game we should absolutely win. Utah is a much better team than UK. I fully expect the offense to improve. AR said after the game he was very nervous during the game. I expect him to be settled in more and the passing game to take off a bit. I don't think UK can stop our running game between AR and our three main backs. Trevor is a beast. It's going to be hard to keep him off the field this season.

I agree that we have to overcome some discipline issues but we have e the talent to be a strong contender this if we can straighten up the lackluster performance on defense with the missed tackles and missed assignments... learn and grow and we have a shot

I see Utah's team as a good preparation for UK's ground game. But if they only surmised 50 yards of rushing against MIAMI of OH? Our game last Saturday should be a good primer for this weekend. Short Round is in for surprise this week. Pretty sure he did an "oh shyt" UF beat Utah? We'll dayum.
