He’s too fragile for the NFL. Mentally and physically. It’s like watching the 8 year olds play. They get down on themselves and fake injury after any contact. He’s gotta toughen up between the ears and just keep playing ball. His body language on the sidelines is so telling.

ALmost like a young Qb that's not been coached since being in college

Truth is Richardson didn't have a ton of opportunities today. I think we only had the ball for like 15 minutes. The fumble he lost should have been called incomplete.

Similar to Leak against Aub in 2006, mistake was letting it get to that point. Don’t put the game in the hands of the ref when you don’t have to. Should’ve just pushed ahead for a yard or so and punted. Same with the last INT. I knew he was going to throw it the moment he threw the precious TD. He HAS TO stop trying to be superman. Be a really good Sophomore QB. If he does that we’re 5-1.

I have ZERO problem with a young player having ups and downs, or even struggling at times. That’s normal. What I cannot overlook though is his demeanor when he or the offense is struggling. Moping around like someone killed his dog. Certainly his negative demeanor has to rub off on the players around him to some degree.

And the whole thing about AR struggling with fans liking him one minute and not the next is a bunch of deflecting bull shyte. He was moping around acting defeated in the first quarter of the Kentucky game. Nobody did that to him but himself. Fans hadn’t had a chance to give him that impression yet, that’s all in his mind.

All the talent in the world, but he needs to grow up quickly or let someone with thicker skin play.

I don’t like the moping either. You can’t be that mentally fragile at this level. I was ready to see Kitna this afternoon. If he does get yanked at some point this season, it’ll probably cause some locker room issues.

If he continues to play poorly and doesnt get pulled it might also. We hear stories of Kitna not having any incompletions at practice ect then you see what he did coming off the bench. Who knows

Obviously AR didn't have his best day, but it wasnt his worst and there were plenty of other problems with the offense too. O-line struggled to get a push in the first half, dropped passes, consistently bad officiating, and the missed field goals didn't help either.

They had a hard time getting into a rhythm. Sometimes games like this happen. It's always better when we win. AR was frustrated, banged up, and a little off at times, but at least he didn't completely collapse like against UK and USF. He's progressing, just taking a little longer than expected.

I just listened to a podcast today about AR. It was with Denny Thompson. Although AR has not come out and said anything, FSU is more than likely his last game.

He is expected to go in the first round.

I like him, but think this may be best for all. The good thing is, if he comes back next season it will be for all the right reasons. I wish him well either way.

Quality article! AR had a good game against Arkansas???

When your job is on the line, you don’t waste #3 overall pick on a QB who can’t read a defense.

Hell, the NFL did it just two years ago when the 49ers traded a King's ransom to move up to #3 to take Trey Lance. NFL coaches always think they are the key to unlocking the greatness in quarterbacks. They almost never can.

For whatever little it's worth, I think AR has more talent than Lance.

I can’t confirm totally. But based on my chime, I’m almost certain Trey Lance delivered our Chewy’s order today. Hell of a job, btw.
