Will Ferrell Lol GIF by NBA

Out of that list, Maye, McCall and Hartman are the only viable qbs. The D2 guy is intriguing as a secondary option

Maye isn't formally out there yet, just rumblings. He says he "intends" to come back. His numbers were ridiculous - 4,115 yards, 35 TD's, only 7 picks, and even ran for another 653 yards and 7 TD's. To say he would be a home run is an understatement. He should have been in the Heisman conversation.

McCall doesn't throw as much, but completed nearly 70% of his passes, 24 TD's and only 2 picks. Not a runner.

The last two years, Hartman has thrown for 7,700 yards and 74 TD's. He's also not a runner.

Pratt had a solid year, 64.5% completion, 2,776 yards and 25 TD's with only 5 picks. He can scramble a little, 395 yards and another 10 TD's on the ground.

I really don't like the other D1 guys on the list.

This is the dumbest post you've ever made, and that's really saying something.

Let this sink in: AR HURT OUR OFFENSE ALL YEAR. He made some plays, but hurt us more than helped us, especially with his reluctance to run. Offense is going to be better next season, I'm sure of it.

There's a reason why most of us are glad he's moving on.
He reminds me of the Clemson QB lot's of promise but never delivered on it.

Take a look at Armstrongs stats under Anae and what he did with Ellliots offense. He also lost his entire O-line and 2 very good rec. of which was a 6'7" TE that starts in the NFL now.

In the most respectful way possible I agree but also disagree. While he may not have committed any egregious sins warranting expulsion or arrest I'm not convinced he gave 100% on the field or in practice or preparation. That kind of selfishness doesn't sit well for me.

I'll take it a step further, with all benefit of the doubt if he was keeping himself healthy for a bigger payday which all of us can understand, then he spent a whole football season practicing the skill of being in it only for himself. That will set him back in his professional life because ... Practice makes perfect. Instead of playing smart, he was playing shy. I think that will come back to haunt him.
Maybe he flopped on the season, maybe he didn't...I don't know for sure. But if his assessment was that this team wasn't going to make any noise and he already has a bum knee and ankle and other nagging injuries not sure what we could have expected..he ain't Tebow and we know that. Bottomline if the college game was too physical he won't last a good farting spell next level.

You’re forgetting Sanders from Okie State on your list

I would not be too concerned about QB's stats from their previous stops. Remember teams recruit players to "fit their systems" :lmao2: and do not recruit all the same players :lmao2:. I have no doubt that Sling Blade can mold any of these guys to fit exactly they type of QB he desires . Just look at how steadily improved AR got each week throughout the year.:stirpot:

Maye isn't going anywhere. Focus on getting Hartman or the kid from WKU.

The NDS is strong in this one. I may have to re-open my mind camp.

AR is going to find out that the pro game is much faster and his inability to read defenses and react is going to become very clear. He could not do this in college reliably, why would anyone waste a first round draft choice on an unproven QB.

As will I, but I am going to pull like hell for him just the same. He's done nothing to warrant or ill-will or hatred...NOTHING!
He's an immature wimp with zero heart, and he's a coward who is afraid to run and imo spent most of this season protecting himself with the intent of going to the NFL, so on top of that he's selfish.. He needed to stay for another year to improve things at college level speed. He lost a year with Dan Mullen, and another year with a coach learning on the job. The NFL is going to be way, way, way too fast for him.
