I probably already said this but when the you hear the ring...........It is Bill Russell calling........

Bill Russell dribbles to half court, then takes one more dribble and jumps over a defender for a finger roll. Amazing athleticism.

Bill Russell takes one dribble, then dunks over a defender.

People say Russell can't be the GOAT basketball player because he's not even the GOAT center (mostly based on his size and the size of those he competed against--except for Wilt).

When I do my all-time NBA starting 5, Russell is in it, but I move him to PF.

Alex.

6'9 and won two national titles at a school never heard of and then never heard from again ......then learned to block shots to retain possession instead of swatting them. Turned rebounding into a science. Learned where it would usually go from studying angles. Played against the most dominant player in history and won titles 90% of the time (or more).....the two titles at San Francisco were amazing. Wish there was video of it.

The rules have gotten better, regarding how a defender guards a wr, but over the last 10 years, if a defender merely touched a wr then a flag was thrown.

So yes, wr's are more physically gifted today but their gear, training and recovery are light years above what existed in the 90s. Jerry Rice had none of those benefits and had to deal with getting mugged.

Rice is the GOAT at wr.

Edit: he just recently got CopperFit so maybe he's coming back.

He has 11 World Championships (won 5 straight) and won the Pipeline Masters at age 50 last year. Mark Richards is second with 5 titles. GOAT of all GOATS

I knew I would get a bite from that comment. JESUS did you see how many blocks he had? Easily a triple double ......
The refs had some animated calls for him and you gotta love his underhand FT's

Put baseball into 2 categories:
Pitcher - Nolan Ryan or Randy Johnson
Hitter - Ted Williams
Pitcher? It ain't close..Ryan. Hell Gibson was better than Johnson.

Category: Female Porn star.....Since we added non-athletes by putting in Golf. I'm going with Marilyn Chambers.

Yes. This is one that’s not close at all. I was a Curren fan as a kid and really felt he was the greatest. But met Slater in 93 on a fan’s tour after his first title, along Jeff Booth and Tom Carroll. After pictures, he paddled out with us and was surfing right along side us. Coolest thing I’d ever experienced.

And it’s not just his win at Pipe last year. It was the wave that got him into the finals just before the whistle blew. At 50, that’s beyond incredible.

My deepest apologies beforehand, but bowling is a pastime. If you can accomplish some of your best moments whilst being drunk and eating wings, that’s not a sport. The fact that some of the “stars” are in terrible shape and wear sunglasses inside as they do it just solidifies the point. It’s cornhole, nothing more.

Imagine being able to throw a football and there were mid-air guard rails to prevent a complete disaster and it was velcro so the ball couldn’t be dropped. Or imagine regardless of how terrible your free throw was it would still go in. Again, Brady/Slater/Russell couldn’t have done what they did two pitchers of Michelob. There’s nothing wrong with it and it can be a lot of fun. But let’s face it. It’s a game for fat older men who work at furniture outlets, and children. I hate that it’s clearly your biggest accomplishment and I’ve now rained on it. Just promise me you wash your hands in between your turn and going back eating wings. They don’t sanitize those things.
