Anybody rewatch their touchdown play from the goal line? While Watson (or is it Waston?) actually made quite a few good TFLs after Lyons was ejected, he's there for those goal line type plays... pushed back rather easily, just stood there.
Watson has so much potential but he cannot lose the 50-60lbs that would make him a top NG. At 365-375lbs he could be like Vita Vea. At 423 he’s makes the occasional big play but too often is a step behind and getting leveraged. I’m pulling for him, seems like a great guy, but he needs to get serious. This being a contract year, maybe if he sticks around…

Mount Cody and Refrigerator Perry were not every every down players. he's for goal line, 3rd/4th and short, or maybe first down against a Billy Napier guy who's going to run, run run.

He's shown he's not serious about losing weight, so the NFL isn't going to have any interest at all.

it's hard to keep a situational guy like that on a 50-man roster.
It just shows a complete lack of discipline in doing what needs to be done while off the field. Coaches can only do so much - they can't lock guys like this in a room and prevent them from overeating. The NFL has no interest in guys that don't even attempt to stay in shape.

Free Rivals article

Big takeaway:

“Last year Florida had no Offensive Coordinator, two offensive line coaches, no Special Teams Coordinator, and a safeties coach (Austin Armstrong) who had never coached the position before on the college level.

Make it make sense.”

Just plain dumb and the results of the season bears it out.

:exactly:

As the article put it. Square pegs in round hole. Hoping that with some of the moves (starting) to be made he can round out a staff that FITS the position and experience with coaching said position. Now lets see if there is any movement on the Offensive side of the house.

The O-line suffered from personnel loss to the portal (WHY?) ...
Why did we lose Tarquín & White? Tarquín is married to Tony Boselli’s daughter. That’s a pretty strong “in” to USC, and their Heisman QB.

White tagged along, which was a huge mistake. In between programs, a medical issue bounced him out of football. Had he stayed, he’d have had a full scholarship and medical care. He discarded his UF benefits and USC never picked him up.

Braun was another story, which appears to be a mis-fit with the new staff, losing his starting role etc.

Didn't we also have a RB coach we picked up at the start of this year and then gave him the TEs? I can't remember, maybe it's the other way around. But, I know we have another coach, coaching out of position.

Could be Russ Callaway. He's been coaching QBs and WRs everywhere else and has also done some OC duties and has been fairly proficient.
For UF, he handles the TE's. That not too far a stretch really so maybe it's another coach. I'll keep looking.
