Dinner? They look damn good, but dinner? As you’ve more or less set the bar around here, we expect more!

For future reference, here’s an example of dinner (from yours truly last night):

Shrimp and scallop risotto with mushrooms

In case you are wondering, pretzels make a fine breakfast food too.
(Seedy made them from a kit his work sent for his quarterly activity. )
We also had a tray of Beecher’s Mac and cheese with dinner - if you know, you know …

@NVGator

Had a ribeye the other night. It was just a slight step up from a bowl of Purina.

That potato is looking pretty yummy. At least you had it to dip your steak in.
All in the preparation and cut I suppose. In my experience the strip and filet tend to be more forgiving . This place really nailed the ribeye . It was excellent .

Who’s the douche that requires chicken breasts?

Got an employee that kicked a booze and drug problem years ago, but he says red meat no longer tastes good. He is the second person to say that to me for the same reason.

There is a tick that can cause an allergy to red meat. That would be awful. It's one thing if it no longer tastes good but it would suck to become allergic to it.

Alpha Gal syndrome. My sister had it, but has regained the ability to eat red meat in moderation.

My sister in law has Alpha Gal no. Plus she is allergic to shell fish.

I’m ok with pretzels first thing in the AM. After all, beer and pretzels is the breakfast of champions.
