Several of the coaches at the press conference were for women's sports. I've wondered how this 'culture' would have effected a legend like Pat Summitt if at all, since I imagine she (and her program) were protected from it. Despite TN's love of football and claim to be a historical program, Women's Basketball was THE sport where they were dominant, and they did so under her to the point of naming the court after her (which the men's team plays on). I take any of the women's coaches comments with a huge grain of salt in that I doubt they were subjected to this 'culture', unless the Athletic Dept Staff treated their coaches like they did their trainers.
