We didn't "fall apart", we ran out of incredible luck. We weren't an 11-2 team but we werent a 4-8 team either, but when you make EVERY game a coinflip, sometimes you get on good or bad runs.

Chip Kelly will be the biggest name in the 2017 coaching carousel. And a number of SEC fans would be thrilled if he landed at there school, specifically Tennessee, Ole Miss and Arkansas.

But per ESPN’s Alex Scarborough, if Kelly is going to join an SEC school, it won’t be as a head coach. He says if Chip Kelly comes back to college football, it will be as a quality coach.

We won all those games that year on the backs of a top 5 defense, great place kicker, damn near leading the country in turnover margin, and not asking Driskel to do to much. Bama would’ve likely beaten us something like 24-6. Winning all those games that year the way we did, was a bad thing cause it convinced Champ that was the way to try and win games.

I bet they are having internal discussions on the various options, I also bet that Foley is part of these discussions. I also bet that he is not making the decisions nor would he want to either. that said I have no special insight either.

People who dislike what is most likely the truth might be living in a fantasy alternative reality. I see many progressives that live there, I generally avoid that.
