With this new coaching staff, I am starting to get a sense of offseason hope that I haven't had in many years. I am almost confident that we will actually look like a team that has practiced and prepared to play football next year.

Look. You may hate that he’s a bulldog, but if you want to make a name for yourself as a young assistant to position coach, here’s his opportunity to shine. I bet we get his A game at least, and the talk is he has a bright future. He’s not running the program folks. He’s coaching half of the linebackers.
We should have a proven recruiter on the road at every position. I really like the staff that mullens brought in, this is the only move i question. Hopefully grantham will be coaching and recruiting the position too.

When he left Florida to become the DC for Louisville he was the best DB coach in college football. That 2008 secondary he coached was one of the best secondaries in the history of Florida football. Our two starting corners went on to be two of the top 3 highest paid defensive backs in the NFL with Revis being the top paid guy. He is the only DB coach to ever coach a Heisman winner at the position, Charles Woodson. Florida would not be DBU without Vance Bedford. That is a fact. He’s the one that got DBU rolling. He’s a hire on par with Corey Raymond based on past results.

Bedford is a great coach and recruiter but UF has had a long string of elite DB’s going back at least to the 80’s. He didn’t start that. Jarvis Williams and Louis Oliver were every bit as dominant as anyone.

Looks like Ron English is going to join.
Florida: Source tells FootballScoop Mississippi State safeties coach (under Dan Mullen) Ron English remains a good candidate to join Mullen’s staff at Florida.

Also FSU hired a 7 on 7 coach today :lmao2:

Their staff is beyond mediocre.
Sounds like some Butterteeth type stuff.

Have they hired any basketball coaches yet? Bc he is a strong recruiter? :smdh:

That's okay, this is who we got (Edit: I know it's a move up for Drew and that is not Lee's title, but..............).

No, that's who Mullinz gets.

And there are thousands better than that on campus.
