Also, kids rarely commit on location
These kids like to plan out elaborate commitment videos and things of that sort. And once they leave campus, I doubt they'll ever think of the facilities again.

Money talks. There is a reason Bama spends so much on facilities. Georgia's best recruits come from Georgia. LSU's best recruits come from Louisiana.
As long as parents enjoy seeing their kids play in person location will matter. Combine good facilities with a good coach and good location ( like Georgia just did ) and good things happen.
If your head coach is a lazy recruiter without the top facilities like Mac then yes recruiting will suffer in spite of location.
Mullen is the opposite of lazy and has only been at UF for 9 months. If you follow a bad recruiter who had a terrible season like Mac it is harder to get going but hustling like Mullen does at a good location plus eventual top facilities is a winning combination eventually.
