Locke started for Hudson

Florida is up 2-0 at the under 4 timeout lmao

That’s kind of a big deal with where Hudson’s concerned. I haven’t even looked at the box score, so I wonder if the kick in the pants did him any good. Maheo suggested Locke starting for Allen after the FSU game and I was like WTF?; would have said the same for this situation. Guess it’s good to see White not afraid to make aggressive moves.

Florida won 72-49. Much better offensive movement and some interesting lineup configurments today and personnel decisions. Have to take it to Butler tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow will tell us a lot about our team. It’s evolving. Watch and enjoy. We’ll be in the tourney again. Anything is possible after that. Happy Thanksgiving Y’all.

We’ll be lucky to make the Tourney. White has a long way to go and unfortunately he’s already been given time. Good luck moving forward.

Wheeeeee.

How good/bad is Stanford? Does our play against them mean we can battle top 25 teams? That's who we have to beat to have a rewarding season. We sure looked good yesterday. Butler usually has a contending team. So let's see today. Hope to see more Basset success. White's gotta develop new leadership. f course, nothing wrong with having several leaders. Got too many performing below their potential : Allen, Hudson, even Stone. Just go Gators!

White keeps insisting that Locke is the very best shooter on the team. The announcer commented the entire UF bench stands up when he shoots knowing it is going in. I hope Hudson is able to come around. We will need him in SEC play. But it was fun to watch. Def. was pretty good.

So we get Butler and then play them again in a month. Should be an interesting matchup.

Winning against an over-matched opponent doesn't prove anything. But it still is better than a loss!

Was at my in-laws doing yucky family stuff instead of watching the game... Glad to see we won, but I wonder if we’re gonna witness a Jeckle and Hyde performance all season long.

I'd like to see more of Allen running up the court...without the ball in his hands. We have better ball handlers for that. It's probably why he, like Hudson, has disappeared early this season. More Locke and Ballard on the court, please.

Butler seems to do well in March Madness, so Butler must have a good coach?
They must have a decent inside game, having a 6'11" center Joey Brunk (RS So) 19 ppg over 5 games.
6'1" Jr. G Kamar Baldwin, 19 ppg. 2 other players at 10 ppg. That's 4 guys 60 ppg.

Butler is 4-1 .... UF 3-2. {Butler's had easier opponents.) Hope Butler shows good with us handling them solidly for dub-digit win along with a boost in our confidence. All due to new more reliable scorers showing up (Bassett & Locke & the old Allen). Maybe Hudson should be put through concussion protocol?-- twice. Go Gators, start forming your identity.

.
LaVall Jordan
Good coaching pedigree and a Butler alum, but only took over as the Butler HC in 2017; so not responsible for Butler’s success over the past decade. That would be Brad Stevens (Celtics HC) and Chris Hotlman (OSU HC).

Got a turnover where a fast-pass would have gotten us an easy lay-in. Can't change that now, but should be practicing at pass-speeds that push our limits to expand.
