We dont like reality around here.

The reason Mullinz cant recruit is McElstain.

The reason The Stai couldnt recruit was Chimp.

The reason Chimp couldnt recruit any position but DB and Rush was Daz and Creyer and broken program.

And yet..... secret commits.
Don't worry, were saving spots for 2019.
Don't worry 2020 will be our year!

I wish these lazy ass coaches making millions would do their ****in job! What these *******s are doing right now on the recruiting trail is worse than mac.

These DM Gators changed 4-7 to 9-3 and they'll be better next year. All amidst this woeful recruiting we going marching upward. Continuance of doing the right things will bring the right recruits. Until then we'll just have to beat the Bulldogs with better spirited Gators of lesser star ratings.

On another note, with Dorlus and Hunter trending to other schools, is that a good sign for us with either Pickering, Fuller, Bogle or someone else?

I don’t think so

I'm not sure who is Plan D on the defensive line. Whiffing on DL AND safety will be painful down the road.

I wish these dickwads would start holding coaches accountable. 2020 kids will be dropping like flies once uga and bama start pressing for the ones they want.

It's not looking good for us, guys. I was trying to be optimistic, but it's looking like more of the same.

What's wrong with UF? Why can't we have nice things? I just don't get why it's so hard to get good players to come here. I know we don't have top notch recruiters, but it's never been this hard.

He already decommitted...months ago...using a tweet...

Well ... that sucks. But ... before I bought the house I am in I did a driveby of the other house just to make sure I wanted this one over that one. Who knows.

We don't have coaches who can sell.

In my experiences, nothing in life is that simple. SOS was admittedly not an ardent recruiter, yet he still got players to come.

We haven't had a 5* since Tez and CeCe. Bad recruiting doesn't cause that. In a talent rich state like Florida, there must be something else going on than just bad recruiting.

Seems like the fact is we can’t sell what UGA and Bama are because we have to get back on top to get top talent...it’s a harder row to hoe but the facts are facts... the thing I don’t get is how Richt can sell anything but mediocrity that’s the battles we need to win to get the state back the Florida pipeline is where we win the league the fact that Bama and UGA get top guys is going to keep happening we gotta win the state and get back to the top then we can start competing I think 19 in Orlando is gonna be what changes things around for us

Having shytty recruiters is exactly what causes that.

Only two former coaches from the past staff managed to land power 5 jobs. That says it all.

UGA went 8-5 in Kirbys 1st year and finished #3 in the country. Meyer 9-3 and had a top 5 class. Mullen and company aren't sellers. They'll do worlds better than Mac but won't be in the zook and Meyer status.

Not discounting that entirely, but the issues run deeper. We are admittedly behind in facilities and have been for some time. But the bigger issue is we just haven't been viewed in the same light over the past decade because of on-field performance and haven't had that "splash" moment where we reasserted ourselves. The fact that guys like Fields and Sanders are/were looking at uga is a prime example of the trendiness of recruiting. No different than us signing 6 or 7 blue chip WR's in 2006. Sometimes kids just want to be a part of things. Right now, we're just not that program. I'm not usually the "wait'ill next year" type, but I'm not sure we have a whole lot of choices. We can make needed staff changes, but that's not going to solve the '19 problem. Between the improvement in perception and some added recruiters, hopefully we can make '20 a game changer class. But again, I wouldn't be opposed to some wholesale changes based on what looks likely at them moment.
