I think that we got all the OL we need and maybe all the ones we want, but it stills gripes me when Clemson poaches Hunter Rayburn who describes himself as a"life-long UF fan".

I was on here last night but I was so pissed at all these dumpers I didn’t post. I didn’t want to get banned.
I wasnt going to let them ruin my day yesterday. We improved this cycle so Im happy. We needed OL, we got em. We needed LBers, we got em. We needed QB depth, we got one. RB, got one, not the one ppl wanted but a very capable one. Got a WR whom the staff is very high on and a transfer DE coming in along with Summerall gives us some depth there. I do hope for another DT and for us to land the CBs we're in the hunt for. We do that and Im very satisfied.

Agreed. Most of these people on here act like they have been lifelong coaches. They know everything there is about college football and recruiting. I trust what Mullen is doing until he proves otherwise.

And I expect UGA to finish 2nd in the SEC for a few years too. Right now ... its a moot point.
Is that the way we roll now? Just conceding? Being proud of finishing 3rd in SEC east and 6th best recruiting?

Did you trust the same with Butters and Chimp?

No I didn’t. The reason I trust Mullen is because what I saw on the field this year. Did we light it up in every aspect of the game???? No. But the dumb penalties weren’t there. The team looked like they were well coached. I remember last year against ugay the first offensive play we had was a false start. After 2 weeks of prep the first play is a false start. You didn’t see sh!t like that this year. The dude can coach. Give him some time to build his program

"The star score also correlates with winning conference games. From 2012-2018, teams that have a star score greater than 3.80 (currently Georgia and Alabama) win nearly 90 percent of their SEC games. Just dropping that to 3.60 to 3.79 drops that winning percentage to 62 percent. That drops to 47 percent for teams between 3.40-3.59 (right where Florida is) and then even lower as recruiting tails off even further."

Our ratio of 4 to 3 stars based on this recruiting cycle is about the same as the ratio of 4 to 3 stars on the roster. Not saying it is his fault, but if he is not going to recruit better than this, then we should not expect anything more than a second place finish in the east in the next few years unless a meteor hits Athens and Tuscaloosa.

Look I have been on both sides. I don't blame Mullen for everything. I give him a ton of credit for what he did this year, but I also see the faults in this recruiting cycle. I like that Mullen clearly identified the holes in recruiting in his presser. At least he is not in denial. He could hit it out of the park and get us Elam, Steele, & Richards. Maybe a few others, so not giving up yet.

I honestly believe Mullen is only a few good recruiters away from being an elite coach.

in order to rebuild the program, you have to recruit well. February needs to be better than last one.

My good friend knows the Rayburn family and Hunter was all UF until he went to the invite only BBQ last summer and Hevesey told him that he would not see the field for 3 years and essentially ignored him at the BBQ...
