What was the betting line on the SECCG? Bama is a 14 pt favorite against OU.

So let's imagine that t-gator is nuts, that Oklahoma has no chance in the national semifinal.

Wouldn't that just add to the argument that the playoff system is too narrow minded?

I read somewhere that okies QB is sick.

I watched most of the first OK--Texas game earlier this season. Murray is indeed really good. And they can flat out score in a hurry. I think they'll give the Bama defense trouble for a while but as stated, their defense can't stop anyone.

If it is somehow close near the end it will be fun to watch Murray run around and create plays. He is as quick as anyone I've seen in the last few years.

IDK, I think it would be pretty funny if 't' ended up being right with his prediction.
Interesting that I didn't see anyone taking him up on his avatar bet even though most are bashing him pretty good. :scratchchin:
I find myself rooting for 't' in this one. I like an underdog.

No. None of the teams below them are any better.
So if Georgia gets in with an at-large bid and is pitted against Bama, which had to pull another one out of its ass to beat them in the SECCG, you're sure that's not a tighter matchup?

It might be a tighter matchup, but how many chances does Georgia deserve? They had their shot and they failed. They also have two losses. Oklahoma only has one loss and they haven't had their chance to beat Bama yet. If they had only one loss and that to Bama in the SECCG, I could see letting them in. But they don't and they didnt.

I will congratulate him and give him the old obligatory 'atta boy'.

Sorry brother,

I hate SABAN also. That said, Big 12 does not play Defense. Bama crushed LSU.

OK and ND don't know what they are getting into.

The SEC will soon take down BAMA but not the ACC or Big 12 and ND is only dreaming.

No it proves that shytty 3-4 teams have no business in the game and 5-6 are worse.

And that's what you have, a supposedly fair and equal system that rewards teams from unequal conferences with berths to the national semifinals because they beat up on inferior opponents.

Small wonder why no one gives a shyt about the national semifinals. They're a joke.

Its no more of a joke than your infantile idea that everything has to be 'fair'. The world and life are not fair. If you don't want to watch the semi finals because UCF isn't in it, thats fine with me. I'll be watching two teams that are better than UCF play for a chance to win a natty.

Who said fair? My desire is for competitive games. If that's infantile, so be it.
