A good way to do it is to break it up after a month or so. Recruiting thread version two: 9/1-10/1 or something along those lines.
That way if let’s say swonkey contradicts himself by saying class ranking doesn’t matter, you can go back to the June thread and pull up his 231 posts that say otherwise.

Why would I say that? I said the season was always a throwaway but the class needs to be great to get us building to be an elite team again. Ive always said that.

Is it just me or when Bama recruits the Stars go up and when we recruit the stars go down...yet we seem to get a bunch of 3 and 4* in the NFL

Espn loves west coast kids and ranked him 5 star at one point, I think. They always do over-rate west coast and far east players. I don't know about 247. They change like every three days or so, and I don't read that trash.

Well, Nauta, Eason, and Fromm certainly are.
But I think they are overranking those kids too. Suddenly in the last four or five years Jawja has tripled in the number of 5 star recruits in the state. I think the scouts are influenced by who was recruiting and if they see Ugly and Bammer fighting over a kid who is borderline, voila, five star.
If we have high four stars, that is good enough. Very little difference between those 4+* kids and the 5s.
Diabete is the talk of the allstar games. He may go to 5*. Arjei also.

The "rating" on the right (6.1 to 5.5 or so) is far more useful for me than just 4* or 3*. It tells you who is a high 3* vs a low 3*.
