For those *****ing about Beck, I said a week ago that he reminded me of Brantley 2.0 and would be a nightmare in our scheme. The kid has had something like 1 rushing TD last season. AR leaving hurts much more than this, I hope the staff tells Beck to stay at home in the future and we have the same approach that we did with the FSU kid that was begging to get in.

I tend to agree on Beck, but honestly this is a "how it looks" thing and Kirby just handed it to us again. The ONLY way to sugar coat this is to say "he's not a fit in our offense" - which is true. We need a QB in this class, and if we miss on the hometown kid (AR) there needs to be a 'come to Jesus' moment w/ this recruiting staff (i.e. get a few more coaches in here that can recruit).

As others have said, let's not panic. We've had 4 de-commits so far in this class. The true measuring stick w/ this class is going to be Bowman. If we miss on him - after signing three of his teammates in the 2019 class - it'll be a bad, bad look. In the meantime, let's land a few more heavy DL's and as many other blue-chippers as we can.

We need a very good season and a on-field victory over UGA before we can go toe-to-toe with uga and bama in recruiting. And face it, neither of those things might occur in the coming season. Disagreeing with SD, I think the season following this one tells the tale.

There is no more hometown than Bowman. Youre right missing on him is an "F-" on the report card, but landing him is only a "C". But one running back isn't going to change this class.

This class HAS to be elite, meaning top three or four and close to the same number of blue chippers as the top guys.

If we land another class with half as much talent as Bama and Georgia, then I don't think Mullins will last long.

Wait til next year doesnt play for long at UF. If we land an elite class in 20 and 21 we are still looking at 2023 or so to compete.

AR leaving didn't hurt shcit. He's the next sitowski. A camp hero who completes 45 pct of his passes. I've had 4 people, 2 of em die hard gator pumpers tell me he wasn't that good. People that have actually seen the cat play.

Hell no. At worst even if he doesn't develop as a passer he's a freak athlete who will be a great tight end, or maybe the next Cornelius Ingram or Jordan Reed. Give him a look at quarterback and see how it works. If not, move him and make him a weapon elsewhere.

Beck is the one who just doesn't fit our system. Im not sure why we were ever wasting time on him.

Isaiah that SC kid is who we really want and we need DTs and some WR RBs n safeties we could get a project QB for depth and it wouldn’t be a big hit even if FF leaves we’ll have EJ/JJ and add a great athlete and we’ll be set after I was so upset about this last night I could really stop the self flagellation and realize that we’re gonna be ok regardless of how everything goes before the season we need a top 5 class every year and I think we get there this season but honestly how do you quantify the success of the kids that MULLEN recruited to MSU all I could see was how great HIS GUYS looked at the combine and what a great job he did developing talent...sorry about the rant but I get invested in this recruiting stuff because I see what it does to the future of the program and after a lot of thought I trust Mullen and I’ll wait til it shakes out on signing day

We keep hearing about little David Reese's brother as a possible OT transfer from Miss St. Most posters have said he doesn't graduate until the end of the spring though so we'll have to wait.

There's going to be plenty of open scholarships to take a grad transfer. Hell, we'll probably award two or three to walk-ons before the first game.
