Anyone check in on big vol daddy?
Is Jimbo Fisher his only successful protege?Saban’s Recycling Plan: Don’t just discard the assistants you run through like boxes from Amazon. Neatly fold them, put them by the curb and wait for needy rivals to collect them and promptly destroy their own programs. AND, collect and recycle fired HC’s to fill out obscure staff positions.
Here is a test to see if you have even a shred of compassion: go to volnation and read any post, " Pruitt coaching for job..." and if you read the entire thread without feeling sorry for our rival, then you are totally without compassion.
Anything greater than zero may trigger actual tears.Haven’t done that yet, but I’m going to make a bold prediction that my level of compassion for the vol$ on a scale of 1-10 will be somewhere between 0 and 1. For a variety of reasons that would take too long to list, I doubt my conscience will be an issue.
Works for me, wife has a Mother , Sister and Brother in East Tn. You know haven't hear a thing from them since their beat down, perfect storm.Let's face, UT played over their heads for a long time. They aren't in a recruiting-rich area where they should have been a national powerhouse. They were damn lucky they won a NC and should just be happy about that. Hell, Colorado used to be a powerhouse too.
My point is, those days are never coming back and they need to pray for 8 or 9 win seasons until the end of time.
I’ll take the challenge. Here is a test to see if you have even a shred of compassion: go to volnation and read any post, " Pruitt coaching for job..." and if you read the entire thread without feeling sorry for our rival, then you are totally without compassion.
CU is on the way back!Let's face, UT played over their heads for a long time. They aren't in a recruiting-rich area where they should have been a national powerhouse. They were damn lucky they won a NC and should just be happy about that. Hell, Colorado used to be a powerhouse too.

Then I change my prediction to zero. Absolutely no way I'll cry for a rival fan base. If there's a natural disaster involved, then we can revisit to topic of potential tears.Anything greater than zero may trigger actual tears.

Sad really. They used to win the preseason SEC/national championship all the time. It was their year! Now UGA has stolen that lofty perch from them. They have nothing.Lucky??? They have several MNCs! Just ask any vole fan, they'll tell you.
Now I know why we connect...........that empathy thing.............but I will admit to a smile each time a rival gets humiliated........I figure it helps us in recruiting............AND I know they have smiled a lot the last decade or so.........Here is a test to see if you have even a shred of compassion: go to volnation and read any post, " Pruitt coaching for job..." and if you read the entire thread without feeling sorry for our rival, then you are totally without compassion.
Reminds me of Nebraska. Problem is no kid was alive to remember Nebraska doing anything. There’s no pull for a kid to leave home to go there.Let's face, UT played over their heads for a long time. They aren't in a recruiting-rich area where they should have been a national powerhouse. They were damn lucky they won a NC and should just be happy about that. Hell, Colorado used to be a powerhouse too.

, but other than being in the SEC, why would a kid go to U Toothless.
